Here we go again...Bayern chasing Hudson-Odoi (Transfer Market Web)

Ah...what summer transfer season would be complete without Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic chasing a winger from the Premier League:

Not properly managing to forge a full-rounded regular position for himself, into Chelsea ranks, English U21 international winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, turning 21 on November 7, has been targeted back by Bayern Munich. German giants, possibly parting ways with Kingsley Coman, on their hand, had already tried to sign the 2000-born from Blues both in 2019 and 2020.

Currently on a deal with Stamford Bridge giants until June 2024, Hudson-Odoi has recently been inquired about by Borussia Dortmund as well, and might however end up staying put into Champions League defensing champions arrays. Worth 35 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.de, the young player made his Premier League debut three years and a half ago, back when he was barely 17 years old, and has so far collected 98 official first-team caps, scoring 13 goals.

I’ll take a hard pass. I’m not sure how his situation improves — with regard to playing time and opportunity — at Bayern Munich.

Falk shoots down Saul-to-Bayern rumors (@cfbayern)

Sport Bild chief reporter Christian Falk was not having any of those rumors linking Saul to Bayern Munich — especially with an outrageous sum of €80 million attached to the move:

We saw these links back in March already and it somehow seems even less likely now than it did back then — when it was already very unlikely.

Lazio still looking at Boateng (The Laziali)

Lazio seems to have targeted outgoing Bayern Munich center-back Jerome Boateng. Boateng would make a lot of sense in Italy — if Lazio can afford him:

Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is still keen to sign free agents Jerome Boateng and Nikola Maksimovic this summer. As reported by Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are looking to strengthen their defense this summer, with the departures of Wesley Hoedt and Mateo Musacchio freeing up space in the squad.

Tare has identified free agents Boateng and Maksimovic as top options; Both players’ contracts will expire with Bayern Munich and Napoli respectively at the end of this month and would be strong low-cost reinforcements, allowing the club to invest more heavily in other areas of the squad.

Madrid inks Vazquez to extension (@realmadriden)

After a few months of being linked to Bayern Munich, Lucas Vazquez ultimately extended his contract with Real Madrid:

Wirtz and the Germany U-21s with a fantastic team goal (@eMiaSanMia)

This goal from Florian Wirtz — and the overall team play to make it happen — was spectacular.

Pretty cool (@FCBayernUS)

This snapshot was from Manuel Neuer’s flying header against Denmark and it’s pretty awesome:
