If there is one person who might be excited to play in London, it is Serge Gnabry.

Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry knows England will be keen to defend it home turf at Wembley Stadium, but thinks his team will be up to the task

“England have great players in their team. We have a lot of respect for them no matter what the media reports there. We want to play and beat them with a performance like the one we showed against Portugal,” said Gnabry in a press conference (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia.

Gnabry: “Every time I came back to London, it’s worked well for me in terms of scoring goals. Hopefully Tuesday will be no different,” said Gnabry, who played for Arsenal from 2011 through 2016 (as captured by FCBayern.com). “For me, there’s always a lot of history when we go to England because I still have some friends there as well. Hopefully they’ll be in the stadium.”

Gnabry, of course, has not out his name on the scoresheet at the Euros as of yet and thinks a game in Wembley Stadium might be a good time to make that happen.

“Of course, not having scored yet isn’t ideal. But we’ve progressed as a team. I keep waiting for my chance,” said Gnabry.
