According to a report from Sport Buzzer, Hansi Flick is putting together a really nice staff for Germany.
Marcus Sorg and Andy Köpke are expected to remain as part of Flick’s staff from the current regime, but Danny Röhl is expected to join the group and be announced shortly.
There is, however, one surprise name on the list of candidates: Borussia Dortmund assistant coach Edin Terzic, who did a magnificent job while filling in on an interim basis for the club after it sacked Lucien Favre:
According to SPORT BUZZER information, there were various mind games when putting together his assistants. Among other things, about a man nobody had on the slip: Dortmund’s Edin Terzic.
Terzic, though, is still on Borussia Dortmund’s staff — as of now.
As previously reported, Miroslav Klose declined an invitation to focus on becoming a head coach, while Hermann Gerland is also reportedly eager to be a part of Flick’s staff.
Holger Broich was reportedly offered a director job at the DFB academy, but it is not expected that Broich will be allowed to leave Bayern Munich, where he is considered an important part of the club’s staff.
