Bayern Munich phenom Jamal Musiala finally got his chance to make an impact for Germany and the youngster was able to help create enough chaos offensively to help Die Mannschaft get the game-tying goal, which was put in by Leon Goretzka.

When Joachim Löw finally called Musiala’s number, he gave the youngster some advice. Musiala said that Löw told him the following: “I should have confidence in myself and get forward aggressively.”

Musiala’s ability to execute those orders made a huge impact on Germany’s frontline, which scuffled throughout the contest.

“I had nothing to lose,” said Musiala (as captured by Bundesliga.com).

Löw acknowledged Musiala made a positive contribution during a tough stretch of the match.

“Musiala was bold, secured balls. It was a very pleasing performance,” said Löw.

Now, “The Musiala Derby” will play out. After having to make a critical decision on which national team — Germany or England — to commit to, the 18-year-old eventually chose Germany. Die Mannschaft’s next match, of course, will be at Wembley Stadium against the Three Lions.

“It’s a game against my second home. It’ll be a cool game,” Musiala said.
