It has been strongly suggested that former Bayern Munich assistant coach Danny Röhl is expected to join Hansi Flick as a coach with Germany shortly following the Euros. Hampshire Live reported earlier this week that Southampton FC’s manager Ralph Hasenhüttl was considering bringing Röhl back to St. Mary’s Stadium.
However, Tobi Altschäffl, a Bild reporter who covers FC Bayern as well as the German national team, suggests that Röhl’s only desire is to join Hansi Flick at the DFB.
Not true: Danny Röhl wants to join the coaching team of Hansi Flick at DFB. https://t.co/FzY6aIyf5I

Röhl was the assistant manager at Bayern Munich since August 2019, before departing just last week. It is safe to say that he worked excellently together with Flick, considering the club’s success during their managerial partnership.
It looks like this Southampton rumor has little merit and that Röhl is likely to join forces with Flick yet again. The culture of winning that is so strong in Bavaria, is surely something that we need to bring back to Die Mannschaft.
