It looks like Jamal Musiala’s moment for Germany might be coming up sooner than expected. Thomas Muller will miss at least the Round of 16 due to a knee injury, but Joachim Low has a deep bench to work with including Leroy Sane and Timo Werner. While Musiala’s name in the starting XI is extremely unlikely, it now seems as though Low is more willing to use the young upcoming Bayern Munich player.
“Tomorrow he will definitely be on the bench,” said Löw about Musiala ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Hungary. While no one is complaining about Musiala not starting, I think many fans are keen to see what Musiala could do for Germany as a substitute.

The 18-year-old was in terrific form at the end of the season for Bayern and must be eager to make his presence on the international level. While there were no guarantees in his statement, don’t be surprised to see Musiala on the pitch Wednesday night.
