RB Leipzig defender Willi Orban is coming off of a spectacular season in the Bundesliga in helping his squad provide a stern challenge to Bayern Munich.
Orban was vital to Die Roten Bullen’s defense and is playing an equally important part for Hungary as it is pushing to move on to the knockout round of the Euro 2020 competition.
Orban recognizes how vital Hungary’s upcoming match against Germany is and the 28-year-old would not have it any other way.
“It’s going to be a special game for me because I was born and raised in Germany. I think Germany is the most complete team in the group,” said Orban as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia. “They have an incredibly good mentality, individual quality and their pressing is exceptional. They’re very well organized.”
Orban’s job might be a bit easier against Germany as Thomas Müller could miss the contest with a knee injury. Without Müller, Germany will be missing the engine behind its relentless pressing and the heart of its squad.
There are no sure things for Die Mannschaft and with Orban patrolling the backline, Hungary will not be an easy out for the Germans.
