According to a report from Bild, new Germany boss Hansi Flick spent a little time closing the Bayern Munich chapter of his career by saying thank you to the club employees on Säbener Straße:
BILD learned: On Thursday, the ex-Bayern coach (November 2019 to June 2020) said goodbye to some club employees at the office.
According to BILD information, the seven-title trainer brought 40 pretzels, 20 croissants and ten pains au chocolate from his Harlachingen regular café “Amandînes et Chocolats” when he visited the training site.
In April, Flick had asked the record champions’ bosses to terminate his contract, which was supposed to run until 2023 - after seven titles in 19 months.
No doubt, Flick won himself a few more fan by recognizing the people that sometimes do not get the recognition they deserve. In the end, Flick is a relationship builder and this is one more example of the type of investment makes into the bonds that he builds with people.
