Per a release from Bayern Munich’s club website, the Bavarians have reached a formal agreement to bring Julian Nagelsmann’s assistant coaches Xaver Zembrod and Dino Toppmöller from RB Leipzig:
FC Bayern München has appointed Xaver Zembrod (54) and Dino Toppmöller (40) as Julian Nagelsmann’s assistant coaches. Both move to Munich from RB Leipzig, where they previously worked in Nagelsmann’s team last season. The pair will take up their duties at FC Bayern at the start of pre-season training.
Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic was happy to get a deal done. At times, there was a lot of back-and-forth between Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig on whether or not Die Roten Bullen would let the move happen
“We are very pleased about the signing of Xaver Zembrod and Dino Toppmöller,” said Salihamidzic. “Both have great quality, and have already worked successfully with our new head coach Julian Nagelsmann in Leipzig.”
