New, comments

Pini Zahavi is working overtime on generating buzz around Robert Lewandowski.

Pini Zahavi must be trying to gain inspiration from the old Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack as he attempts to generate a buzz around Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski.

(Can’t you just Glenn Frey’s voice now?)

After hearing on Friday that Real Madrid was back in the mix for the Poland international, three more power clubs have been listed as potential landing spots for Lewandowski.

Except in Bayern Munich’s case, Zahavi is like a a cold house in December (clears throat to get cadence right): “The heat…is clearly...not on.”

YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Anyway, back to the “news”…

According to an update from Zahavi, err… AS, it is not just Real Madrid who has put in an offer for Lewandowski. Apparently, we can add Champions League winner Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United to the list of clubs who have put down offers for the Polish Hitman:

But the reality of the player’s interest in changing the scene puts him squarely in the plans of some of the main teams on the continent, and even makes him the protagonist of future linked movements. Lewandowski currently has offers from several top teams. PSG is looking for a guaranteed striker. Like United (after Cavani) and City (after Agüero) . And even Chelsea, current Champions of the Champions despite the little success shown by Werner.

If the “Great Lewy Transfer” saga of 2018 taught us anything, it is that Zahavi will use all of his resources to attempt to apply pressure on Bayern Munich to expedite a lucrative contract extension for Lewandowski.
