BPW’s Euro 2020 MD 1: Italy scores three for the first time at the Euros, win first match

While the first half produced no goals, Italy took chances from Turkish mistakes to win the first match of the tournament

After a first half dominated by the Italians, but producing no goals, Gli Azzuri was able to convert chances in the second half to win the first game of the 2020 Euros.

An unfortunate own goal for Turkey and Juventus center back Merih Demiral was followed up by a great poached goal from Lazio striker Ciro Immobile, who put the game away in his own backyard.
