With his team set to kick-off in the Bundesliga’s late game on Saturday against Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick indicated that he will not have an eye on the match between Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, which takes place earlier in the day.
In fact, Flick has no concern with the outcome of that match at all. If Borussia Dortmund is able to win, the outcome would crown Bayern Munich champions before the Bavarians even take the pitch for their own match.

“That interests me zero point zero, we are playing against an opponent who will demand everything from us. I am not concerned with it,” Flick said at his weekly press conference (as captured by Tz). “We still have three games to play and with one win we can become champions early, that’s our goal. At Bayern there is no question: ‘How many points do we need?’, but ‘How many points can you still get?’. We’ll start against Gladbach and then we’ll have three points to get against Freiburg and Augsburg.”
For anyone thinking that Flick might want to coast on his way out the door, it sure sounds like he is intent with securing a strong finish.
