Report: Bayern Munich eyeing another teenage winger after Jamal Musiala's success

Could Fabio Blanco be Brazzo's next potential coup on the transfer market?

With the season slowly coming to an end, focus at Bayern Munich is slowly shifting to the upcoming summer and the transfers that will need to be made. However, the club is hurting for cash at the moment, which means that cheap transfers are the name of the day.

The best way to get cheap talent (and not end up with another Buona Sarr) is to target young players with potential. If reports are to be believed, the Bayern is doing just that. Per Tz, the club are looking into the status of 17-year-old Spanish winger Fabio Blanco. The player’s contract at Valencia expires this summer.

If signed, Blanco would probably spend some time in the youth teams before making the jump to the senior level. Like Jamal Musiala before his Bayern move, the Spaniard has no experience in the top flight. However, his talent is sought after by multiple clubs around Europe, including at least one Bundesliga club.

Eintracht Frankfurt are also interested in the player, and Blanco could be swayed by the prospect of making the first team sooner. After all, Bayern have the likes of Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane manning the wing positions, with Jamal Musiala as their understudy. Breaking into a lineup like that is not easy, especially for a 17-year-old.

At the moment, it looks like we can't expect any more blockbuster signings from Bayern Munich this summer. Let's hope that whatever the board has planned, it turns out to be a pleasant surprise for the fans.
