According to a report from Sport journalist Toni Juanmartí, several clubs have inquired about FC Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest of late — including Bayern Munich.

Per Juanmarti, the Bavarians, Juventus, and and Arsenal have all made contact with FC Barcelona youngster in hopes of taking advantage of what could be a very iffy situation with the Catalan club:

In recent weeks, Juventus, Arsenal and Bayern have tried to convince Sergiño Dest (aware of Barça’s unstable situation). “I’m not moving; my stage here has only just begun”, the response from the full-back. The American only thinks about succeeding as a Barça player #fcblive

Barcelona, of course, is a bit unstable financial and organizationally given all of the turmoil that the club has experienced lately. A presidential election, an uncertain future for Ronald Koeman, persistent rumors about Lionel Messi’s future, and years of being poorly run have caught up to FC Barcelona — but it does not appear that Dest is thinking about going anywhere, any time soon according to his quotes.

In addition, Bayern Munich’s own poor financial status given the loss of revenue due to COVID-19, has the Bavarians shopping off of the discount rack this summer and not looking at a player like Dest, who would surely be an expensive purchase.
