Marc Roca wouldn’t mind seeing RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo at Bayern Munich

Marc Roca and Philipp Lahm both think Dan Olmo would be a great fit at Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca likes his teammates and surroundings in Bavaria, but when he looks around the locker room, he would not mind having a good — and talented — friend with him.

Specifically, Roca would not mind seeing RB Leipzig forward Dani Olmo follow his old coach Julian Nagelsmann to Bayern Munich.

“And how! In the U-21s, he was my roommate. He’s like a brother to me,” Roca said in an interview with Tz. “I wouldn’t mind (Olmo moving to Bayern Munich). But it’s not my decision. He’s a mix of tens and winger. He is always a goal hazard, can use both feet, can turn a game quickly — he has everything. He is an extremely versatile player. We talk a lot and I can only say that I am extremely happy that things are going so well for him at the moment.”

Roca has already made his commitment to Bayern Munich with a long-ter goal of breaking through with the club. As for Olmo, the Spaniard’s contract with Die Roten Bullen runs through the 2023/2024 season, so it is unlikely the 23-year-old would be going anywhere, any time soon — even if Roca and Philipp Lahm both think Olmo is “Bayern quality.”
