Julian Nagelsmann looking forward to working with top talents at Bayern Munich

Whether it was Hoffenheim or RB Leipzig, new Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann has never suffered from having a lack of talent on his rosters since beginning his Bundesliga coaching career.

While the core of his rosters at both Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig featured immense talent and depth, Nagelsmann has never quite as many weapons — or as much overall talent — as he will have at Bayern Munich.

That is something that is not lost on the 33-year-old.

“I’m especially looking forward to seeing the enormous quality of these players every day in training. I heard many good things about the character of the players. I’m thrilled,” said Nagelsmann in an interview with Sport Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “It is, of course, interesting to work with the world’s best footballer (Robert Lewandowski), but also with (Thomas) Müller, (Manuel) Neuer, Jo Kimmich and many others. I think it’s extremely exciting to get to know a new team.”

With all of those new — and talented — toys to play with, many Bayern Munich fans have started to wonder exactly how Nagelsmann will deploy them. At this point, the new boss has not given any hints as to what he has up his sleeve.

Whatever he decides, Nagelsmann will be rolling out the most potent XI that he has ever worked with.
