A, B, and C Teams for 2021/22

One major concern for next season is the lack of depth. At this point in time, it seems unlikely that Brazzo will pay up and get a key depth player or two, so, as it stands this is what the best possible A, B, and C teams look like for the 2021/22 season.

Note that I'm assuming that Bayern do not sign any more players, and will not sell or loan out any of their current players. Also, I'm assuming that all players currently loaned out will return, and the signing of Omar Richards is made official.

4-2-3-1 Formation

A Team:
Neuer (c) - Davies, Hernandez, Süle, Pavard - Goretzka, Kimmich - Gnabry, Müller, Sané - Lewandowski

Not much to say here. I do predict that Hernandez/Süle will get the starting job (over Upamecano), and Sané over Coman.

B Team:
Nübel - O. Richards, Nianzou, Upamecano, C. Richards - Tolisso, Roca - Coman, Musiala, Sarr - Choupo-Moting

The one major thing to note is Sarr's use. Right-back has obviously not worked out for him at Bayern, but I think he should be given a chance on the wing, where he has played before (with Marseille). I also think that Roca will get the DM job over Fein/Cuisance, while Nianzou slightly edges out Mai for a backup CB job.

C Team:
Hoffmann - Arrey-Mbi, Mai, Che, Stanisić - Fein, Cuisance/Rhein - Batista Meier, Tillman, Sieb/Dajaku - Zirkzee

For the C-team, I went youth player-heavy. I feel that a considerable amount of Bayern II players will be utilized next season, due to the lack of depth.

Other Options:

Arp, Schneller, Früchtl, Vita, Scott, Oberlin

Whether or not this team is good enough to win another Champions League remains to be seen. I think it is also important to mention that some players I've listed may not be back next season (Tolisso, Zirkzee, Hoffmann, etc.), further weakening the squad.

Regardless, all of us here at BFW will continue to give Bayern München our support! Mia san Mia!
