Chelsea wants Coman (Caught Offside)

It is not just Manchester United that wants Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman. Chelsea is also reportedly ready to make a bid for the fleet Frenchman:

Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman is reportedly on the hunt for a new club in England’s top-flight and his agent, who has close connections to Chelsea, is expected to try and seal his client a move to Stamford Bridge.

The French winger’s current deal expires in the summer of 2023 and with no agreement to extend his deal, the exciting attacker could very well move on once this summer’s transfer window opens.

It has been claimed that Pini Zahavi, the agent who has been tasked with moving Coman, has ‘very close ties’ with the blue half of London. Most interestingly though, Coman and his father have given Zahavi a ‘mandate’ to sound a move to an English club.

Coman is certainly an intriguing player for a lot of clubs, but Bayern Munich does not seem eager to part ways with the 24-year-old even if they are far apart on the wages that Coman wants for his next contract.

Hudson-Odoi to leave Chelsea for Dortmund? (Eurosport)

Could former Bayern Munich transfer target Callum Hudson-Odoi be headed to Borussia Dortmund?

Chelsea are willing to let Callum Hudson-Odoi leave this summer and Borussia Dortmund could open up as a potential destination.

He has not lived up to the hype that drove Chelsea to hand him a £120,000-a-week contract to keep him away from Bayern Munich and it is now being indicated that they are open to him leaving next season.

Dortmund are looking at potential new attacking options in light of the fact Jadon Sancho will be allowed to leave this summer, with Manchester United in the driving seat to sign him.

They are believed to have made tentative enquiries about the terms it might take to sign Hudson-Odoi as a replacement; though there are other options to be explored as well, including Lille’s Jonathan Ikone and Leeds United’s Raphinha.

Mai called to Germany’s U-21 squad (

Lars Lukas Mai did not make the initial cut for Germany’s U-21 squad, that will compete at the U-21 European Championships, but an injury to VfL Bochum’s Maxim Leitsch opened a door for the young defender to join the roster:

Central defender Maxim Leitsch (VfL Bochum) is out of action for the final round of the U21 European Championship due to an injury . Was nominated for this Lars Luke May (SV Darmstadt 98, on loan from Bayern Munich).

Mai has played four games for the German U21 national team so far , most recently in November 2020 for the team of DFB coach Stefan Kuntz . Now he is part of the 23-strong U21 squad that will face Denmark next Monday (from 9 p.m., live on ProSieben) in the EM quarter-finals. The team is currently preparing for it at the training camp in South Tyrol.

The full squad is detailed in this graphic below (minus the Mai for Leitsch swap):

Robert Lewandowski was honored by his teammates on the Poland national team for his record-breaking performance in the Bundesliga this season:

Juve planning Dybala extension (Transfer Market Web)

Juventus is planning an extension with Paulo Dybala — a player who was linked to Bayern Munich about 50 times over the years:

Contract negotiations for Dybala are currently at a standstill and Juventus risk losing Dybala for nothing.

Pirlo chose Morata and Dybala from the start last time at Bologna and in truth the combination was not readily available this season with injury to both strikers.

Juventus have many topics on the agenda at the moment with a potential managerial change as well as contract renewals for Head of Football Fabio Paratici but as Sandro Bocchio writes this morning in Tuttosport they must also focus on the first team.

The demands made by Dybala, an increase in contract value to 10M per year have remained the same and the club’s position also. Talks between Juventus and Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun must surely begin soon if they are to keep la Joya.

Modric signs extension with Madrid (@realmadriden)

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has extended his deal with the club through the end of next season:
