Following the conclusion of the 2020/2021 Bundesliga on Saturday, Sportschau released their Team of the Season. Three Bayern Munich players have been named to the Team, and it’s almost certainly the three players that you’re thinking of in your head right now.

Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Müller, and Joshua Kimmich join a “Who’s Who” of the best in the Bundesliga. The three players are the anchors of this Bayern team, and are most deserving of this award. Unsurprisingly, no members of the Bayern defense or goalkeeper Manuel Neuer were named to the team.

Twenty year-old Erling Haaland and twenty one year-old Silas Wamangtiku were also named to the team. Both were sensational in their first full seasons in the Bundesliga and fully deserve their nominations.

Team of the Season

Goalkeeper: Péter Gulácsi (RB Leipzig)

Defenders: Ridle Baku (Wolfsburg), Mats Hummels (Borussia Dortmund), Angeliño (RB Leipzig)

Midfielders: Silas Wamangituka (Stuttgart), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich), Thomas Müller (Bayern Munich), Filip Kostić (Eintracht Frankfurt)

Forwards: André Silva (Eintracht Frankfurt), Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich), Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund
