Bavarian Podcast Works: Special Edition — Germany’s squad was announced and it features eight Bayern Munich players

In news that broke earlier today, Joachim Löw has announced his 26-man squad for Germany that will compete in the European Championships this summer and — as expected — there will be a strong Bayern Munich presence on the roster.

Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer, Niklas Süle, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala, and Thomas Müller will all be a part of the squad and will form the foundation of the roster.

That core group will have some talent surrounding it, but there were some surprising picks and notable omissions. Find out what we think in the podcast below:
