Just recently, Miroslav Klose confirmed the rumors — he will part ways with Bayern Munich at the end of the current season. Although it’s not clear where Klose is going to continue his coaching career, a few positions emerge for the former striker.
Klose is going to depart from Munich just like Hansi Flick. Several rumors suggest that Klose might be tempted to join Hansi Flick at the German national team, but others suggest that he might want to try to be a head coach of a Bundesliga club next season.
Miro Klose has received several inquiries from Germany & abroad. His aim is to take over a 1st division team, but a 2nd division team with a good project could convince him. German news outlet Express says there is a real possibility that Klose could take charge of Fortuna Düsseldorf. The talks between the two parties have, reportedly, already been held, as Klose became one of Fortuna’s top candidates.
Is there a real chance that Klose could end up in Düsseldorf? According to the same source — yes, there is! As Fortuna’s current chairman Klaus Allofs has a great relationship with Klose and was the man in charge of bringing the striker to Werder Bremen back in 2004.
Miroslav Klose had this to say: “At the moment, I am still in hotel quarantine with FC Bayern and can not yet hold the final talks about my future. But there are several exciting options, and I am sure that a decision will be made promptly about what I will do in the coming season. And as I said — I decide, no one else!”
