Perisic is on the market (Transfer Market Web)
Inter Milan is likely looking to part ways with Bayern Munich treble-winner Ivan Perisic. The Croatian’s contract runs through 2022, but the Italian club has no interest in signing him to an extension and does not want to lose him for free. Could the Bavarians try and swing a cut rate deal?
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, (Inter Milan) are in no way interested in signing him on a deal extension, beyond current June 2022 deadline: Perisic is therefore being let out, otherwise staying put and then leave on a free move.
Previously pursued by a bunch more clubs all around Europe, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayer Leverkusen, Paris Saint-Germain, and AS Monaco, Perisic doesn’t seem to have aroused further interest towards himself, at the time, in spite of a winning season rich of caps. Suitable also as both an attacking midfielder and a wide one, the player, roughly worth 10 million euros at the time, used to fend for more clubs, adding up to the already mentioned ones, namely Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg, Club Brugge, Sochaux, Roeselare (Belgium), and his home one, Hajduk Split, throughout his years as a junior.
Perisic was an invaluable member of the Bayern Munich’s 2019/2020 squad and his presence was missed this season. At 32-year-old, however, Bayern Munich would likely need to pay less than the 10 million Inter Milan is looking for if it even has interested in Perisic at all at this point.
LFC, Madrid “courting” Lewy as well (The Hard Tackle)
Add Liverpool and Real Madrid to the list of clubs that Pini Zahavi has “convinced” that they have a shot at Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski:
Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Robert Lewandowski, who is also a target for Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Real Madrid hold a long-standing interest in Lewandowski, having made previous attempts to sign the prolific forward on a few occasions. Heading into this coming summer, the continued interest in the 32-year-old is understandable despite the fact that he is on the wrong side of 30, considering just how dependent Los Blancos have been on Karim Benzema’s returns in the last few years.
In Lewandowski, Real Madrid will have one of the most clinical strikers in the game, although it will be interesting to see how the Merengues can fit in both the Pole and Benzema in one side. As for Liverpool, their interest in the veteran forward is more straightforward.
Not this (bleep) again...
Bayern and Dortmund eyeing Jebbison (Sportslens)
Bayern Munich anbd Borussia Dortmund are two of the clubs allegedly interested in Sheffield United striker Daniel Jebbison:
Striker Daniel Jebbison became the youngest player in Premier League history to score on his first start in the competition after his 7th-minute strike against Carlo Ancelotti’s side, but he could have been setting that record in an Everton shirt.
According to The Athletic, Everton had the Daniel Jebbison on trial before the Blades made their move in 2019. However, while he impressed some coaches in their academy, the Goodison Park outfit passed up the chance to sign him.
That decision has come back to haunt them as Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are now keeping tabs on Jebbison. 90min has also claimed that Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have joined the Germans in monitoring the teenager’s situation.
Terzic to Frankfurt (@swearimnotpaul)
Edin Terzic has done a fantastic job in leading Borussia Dortmund — and some might say BVB could be regretting its move for Marco Rose.

Kane wants away from Tottenham (Transfermarkt)
Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane reportedly wants to leave the club and — as expected — suitors are lining up. Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea are at the front of the line:
According to a report by Sky Sports Football Daily show, Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has told his club’s board that he wants to leave this summer. The report also indicated that Tottenham are already in the market to replace their star striker. Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea are understood to be the favorites should Kane become available this summer.
Eintract signs Blanco (@Eintracht)
Fabio Blanco was loosely linked to Bayern Munich, but Eintracht Frankfurt beat them to the punch:
Die Eintracht sichert sich die Dienste eines der größten Talente des spanischen Fußballs: @fabiioblanco_ wechselt zur neuen Saison vom traditionsreichen @valenciacf an den Main und erhält einen Vertrag bis zum 30. Juni 2023 mit einer Verlängerungsoption ✍️#SGE

Did Flick rob a liquor store? (Daily Express)
We covered Tottenham Hotspur’s alleged interest in Hansi Flick on Monday, but this headline just made me think about Flick wearing a ski-mask, asking for all the cash in the register, and a bottle of Jacquin’s Wild Cherry Brandy before racing out into a getaway car driven by Hermann Gerland:
