It seems like the initial mock up details for the 2021/2022 away kit of Bayern Munich were not too far from the truth. However, there are a few changes from the initial design.
Yes, the main body of the kit is black. Yes, the accents are gold.
However, instead of this initial concept, featuring purple:

We instead get a number of dots.

Considering one of the pictures features a smiling Thomas Muller, it’s believed that this is the official kit to be released.
In all of the images, it does not show any of Bayern’s Bundesliga winner stars — probably because the team just wrapped up winning their 30th title, earning them a fifth star above the crest.
Bayern has worn a kit with black as the dominant color as recently as this year. A number of teams in recent years — including Barcelona, Ajax, and Juventus — have donned a black kit with gold accents.
The last time Bayern wore any combination of black and gold was the 2004/05 season, but the colors were reversed:

This year’s kit serves as a deviant from the norm in one particular way. Instead of the club’s traditional Mia San Mia on the back collar, it instead features an image of the Münchner Kindl from the crest of the city of Munich.
