Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane is not looking past the final games of his Bundesliga season, but the 25-year-old cannot contain his excitement for the upcoming European Championships.
One of the challenges that Sane and his German teammates will face, is trying to send Joachim Löw out a winner. That task might not be easy given Germany is in a group with Hungary, France, and Portugal.

“It is in the heads of the players to present a farewell present to him,” Sane told Xinhua. “Everyone is excited about his last major tournament. We can’t wait for kick-off, but before we want to prepare perfectly to achieve our goals.”
As for who will replace Löw, Sane has an idea of who might be a good candidate: Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick.
“He did an amazing job at Bayern. He will give the national team a big push, as we all know about his skills leading a team,” Sane said. “But for now, we have only heard rumors he is going to join the national team.”
