Bayern Munich fans can breath a little easier now! According to the club Twitter account, Robert Lewandowski’s early exit was precautionary.
Bild’s report stated that Lewandowski left the pitch “visibly angry”, but perhaps Lewandowski simply didn’t want to cut his session short — or Bild could have just misinterpreted his mannerisms.
Either way, Lewandowski is reportedly okay.

@lewy_official trained a little shorter than the rest of the team today due to stress control.
Just two goals away from breaking Gerd Müller’s Bundesliga’s goal scoring record, Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski was forced to leave training on Thursday morning due to an undisclosed issue.
Bild captured the action from the training ground this morning as the Polish Hitman left the pitch and indicated the star player looked irritated:
Together with team doctor Dr. Jochen Hahne and physio Gianni Bianchi went “Lewy” from the square towards the hotel. The top scorer looked visibly angry.
A failure would come at the worst possible time for the Pole. The championship is in the bag, but for Lewandowski personally it is still about the historic 40-goal record by Gerd Müller (75). At the moment, the Bayern star is still missing a hit to catch up with the “bomber of the nation”. The EM is just around the corner.
Twitter account @iMiaSanMia captured the photos of Lewandowski leaving the practice. Hopefully, this is all precautionary:
