Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski checked in with Paramount+ (as captured by HITC) and talked over one of the most discussed subjects in all of football.
Nope, it was not his recent injury, but the future prospects of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
It can be said that Lewandowski is a big fan of the young Norwegian.

“He’s a great player,” said Lewandowski. “He has huge potential. And he’s still very young. If I see his face and how hungry he is to score goals. In the future, he has a chance to be the best striker in the world, for sure. But sometimes when everything is going well, it’s really not easy. But if you see him, he has scored so many goals and he’s so young.”
For Lewandowski, it is a thrill to see Haaland growing as a player in Germany, but the 32-year-old Poland international is not ready to cede his position as the “World’s Best Striker” just yet.
“It’s great to play in the Bundesliga and it’s great to see a young player in this league and compare,” Lewandowski said. “He is the player who can be the best, but I want to play at the highest for many more years, so I am happy to be there where I am.”
