AC Milan are always on the lookout for opportunities to add players on cost-advantageous deals, and there is a number of players the club are keeping tabs on.
Calciomercato.it have taken an in-depth look at some of the players around Europe who are set to become free agents at the end of the season, and they have mentioned Milan as being potential suitors for a number of them
Real Betis centre-back Aissa Mandi is mentioned as being followed by Inter and Milan, while Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng could also leave Bayern Munich with Inter, Milan and Juventus on the trail of the German defender.
Finally, there are a couple of names in from France that are arousing Milan’s interest and both are at Marseille currently. Winger Florian Thauvin is among the profiles followed by the Rossoneri, as is the full-back Jordan Amavi.
Inter Milan has been advised to find a midfielder like Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka.
This is the part where we need Leon to channel Jamie Lannister and say: “There are no men like me, only me.”
Inter have been advised to shelve any interest in Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and instead focus on landing themselves a playmaker in the Leon Goretzka mould.
Prising the Germany international away from Bayern Munich would likely be an impossible task, meaning that other avenues will need to be explored in upcoming transfer markets.
It has been suggested for some time that former Blues boss Antonio Conte will look to launch a raid on Stamford Bridge for a familiar face, but Nerazzurri legend Giuseppe Bergomi believes more creative options have to be prioritised.
A man who spent his entire 20-year playing career with Inter has told Gazzetta dello Sport on recruitment needs at San Siro: “I think there are three roles to retouch.
Among those roles — you guessed it — a midfield like Goretzka:
“And finally, a midfielder with six to eight goals in his legs. A [Lothar] Matthaus. Or, looking at things today, like a Goretzka.”

Arsenal is reportedly planning to make a run at former Bayern Munich midfielder and current FC Barcelona rehab patient Philippe Coutinho:
As they did with Alexis Sanchez, almost seven years ago, Arsenal are planning to fetch another not-so-regular Barcelona FC frontline member, namely Brazilian international attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho (28), and make him of their team’s cornerstones. Still on a deal with Spanish giants until June 2023, former Bayern Munich and Liverpool playmaker is still tracked by Tottenham as well, and is possibly leaving, this time for good, on a bid not shy of 35 million euros.
Coutinho has had awful luck with injuries this season and will hopefully get healthy in time to sort out his future.
Arsenal is not quite done there, however, in scoping ex-Bundesliga player. The Gunners allegedly have their eyes on Inter Milan speedster Achraf Hakimi as well:
Arsenal are preparing to launch a move for Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi, reports AS. Hakimi has been highlighted as a possible replacement for right-back Hector Bellerin, who continues to be linked with Barcelona. Inter would be willing to listen to offers for Hakimi but only if their £43million valuation is met.
If ever there was a match where Bayern Munich will need Manuel Neuer to be on top of his game, today’s fixture against Paris Saint-Germain might be it:
Leicester City is reportedly thinking about making a move for Liverpool midfielder — and ex-RB Leipzig star — Naby Keira:
Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has emerged as a target for Leicester City, according to Football Insider.
The 26-year-old Guinea international has failed to nail down a regular place in Liverpool’s midfield since moving to Anfield from RB Leipzig in 2018.
Keita could become available for a cut-price deal this summer, and the Foxes are exploring the possibility of bringing him to the King Power Stadium.
