Per a report from Le Parisien (as captured by Get French Football News), Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino will look towards the club’s campus to procure some extra depth for his team’s Champions League tilt against Bayern Munich.
Specifically, Pochettino is said to be eyeing three PSG academy players: 19-year-old striker Kenny Nagera, 16-year-old defensive midfielder Abdoulaye Kamara, and 16-year-old attacking midfielder Ismael Gharbi.
Between COVID-19 cases and injuries, Pochettino’s game day roster will look a little different than it normally does. PSG is expected to be missing the following players for the match: Marco Verratti, Alessandro Florenzi, Leandro Paredes, Layvin Kurzawa, and Mauro Icardi. In addition, former Bayern Munich player Juan Bernat is unavailable with a long-term injury as well.
Even without those players, Pochettino has a wealth of talent at his disposal and will still be able to field a very dangerous lineup against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
Bayern Munich, of course, has its own injury issues, so neither team is rolling into this match at full strength.
