Bayern Munich II suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of VfB Lübeck in what was probably Holger Seitz’s last match at the helm of the squad.
Seitz is slated to return to his duties as sporting director of Bayern Munich’s campus, while Danny Schwarz and Martín Demichelis will take over Bayern Munich II.

Torben Rhein answered with a goal for Bayern Munich II in the 53rd minute, but again, the opponents offered a quick response. Ersin Zehir responded for VfB Lübeck in the 57th minute before Yannick Deichmann provided the game-winner in the 84th minute.

It was yet another tough loss to take for Bayern Munich II, who entered the match extremely banged up. Nico Feldhahn (yellow card accumulation), Sarpreet Singh (calf injury), Timo Kern (Achilles injury), Rémy Vita (personal reasons), Malik Tillman (knee injury), Lenny Borges (knee injury), Ron-Thorben Hoffmann (still in private training after a knee injury), and Chris Scott (called to senior team) were all unavailable.
