Bayern Munich star striker Robert Lewandowski has achieved many great things over the course of his career, but the Polish international knows that the sextuple-winning effort he took part in under Hansi Flick is a feat that will never be forgotten.
The respect that Lewandowski has for Flick is immense and the Polish Hitman does not just limit his admiration for the 56-year-old to the pitch. Lewandowski values how Flick was able to connect with players on an athletic and personal level.

“He’s not only a great coach, he’s also a great person,” Lewandowski said to Sport Bild. “You can also talk to him about private matters. We achieved historical things with Hansi Flick. That was by far my best time at Bayern, he always gave us a clear plan of what to expect.”
Flick’s tactical and strategic vision may be what many remember as having powered Bayern Munich’s excellent for over the past two seasons, but the players will surely think more about Flick’s relationship building skills, his ability to communicate, and how he re-built the sense of a “team” on Säbener Straße.
