The club confirmed on Tuesday that Nagelsmann has been appointed as the new head coach of Bayern Munich. The current RB Leipzig manager will move to Munich and officially take charge on July 1st, ahead of the upcoming season. The five-year-contract will keep Nagelsmann in Munich until 30 June 2026.
The confirmation of the signing has been made public only a few weeks after Hansi Flick’s announcement of departure. The executive officials are very thrilled to bring Nagelsmann to Munich – which some fans claim is the least they could do after driving Flick away.
