Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is known for his internal drive and his ability to draw motivation from the hard road he travelled to stardom.
The Polish Hitman also gets inspiration from a star player in another sport: Tennis GOAT Roger Federer.
“He is a great role model, not only for the other athletes, but also for me,” said Lewandowski to TennisWorldUSA.com of Federer. “He is a sportsman who has been playing at the highest level for years and demonstrates what a great person he is.”

When asked if he had ever met Federer, who has 20 major titles and 103 titles overall, Lewandowski admitted he was not that lucky.
“Roger? No. But I met Novak (Djokovic), maybe I should have brought his book with me,” Lewandowski joked.
Federer, a native of Switzerland, is known to be a major supporter of Basel. Perhaps, a meet-and-greet with Lewandowski can sway the tennis great’s fandom over to the German Rekordmeister and also cross off a bucket list item for the Poland international.
