Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is open to working with manager Hansi Flick to find a way to honor his request to leave the club. Rummenigge, however, understands that the road to finding an easy solution could be rocky for both parties.
More than anything, Rummenigge just wants everyone to get together and collaborate on a plan of action.
“If we are to meet Hansi’s request, all parties have to work together to find a solution that FC Bayern is also satisfied with,” Rummenigge said to Sport Bild. “After all, we are talking about a trainer who has achieved something historic with us and whose work we are very happy with.”

Rummenigge, like Flick and team president Herbert Hainer before him, also asked people to stop “targeting” sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic and his family.
“At the moment, the public is targeting Hasan Salihamidzic,” Rummenigge said. “But at FC Bayern we make all decisions, including transfers and squad questions, together with the board of directors and the supervisory board — and the coach is also involved.”
Surely, that last point is not in dispute. What has driven Flick to want to leave — allegedly — is that the coach does not have quite enough say in those decisions.
