Three Bayern Munich players are making progress on their respective roads to recovery.
Per Bild, Serge Gnabry practiced with a ball for the first time since being released from his COVID-19 quarantine:
After an hour of passing exercises and coordination training with rehab coach Peter Schlösser, it was over. It is still unclear at the moment whether it will be enough for Saturday in Mainz.
Marc Roca will likely be ready to face-off with Mainz 05 this weekend after dealing with a knee bruise:
While his team colleagues had a day off, the Spaniard put in an extra intensive shift: header pendulum with assistant trainer Hermann Gerland, one-on-one with head of fitness Dr. Holger Broich and many short sprints. Roca did pass exercises while hanging on a resistance rope. Looks like Roca is ready for Mainz.
Meanwhile, Corentin Tolisso, who suffered a torn muscle tendon in his left thigh, jogged for 25 minutes, but picked up the pace a bit compared to his effort yesterday. There is no timetable set for his return.
