With Hansi Flick’s stunning decision to leave Säbener Straße and all the intricacies that go with it (which you can read & catch up: here), Bayern Munich’s captain and resident sweeper keeper Manuel Neuer was asked about his future with the treble-winning coach, in which he had this to say:
Manuel Neuer on the prospect of working with Hansi Flick in the national team in the future: "That's not in my hands. The people in charge will decide. Now we're going to make sure we win the league with Bayern" [@sportschau] pic.twitter.com/L61yfm3jFU

It must be noted that the primary belief that led Hansi Flick to leave FC Bayern was the recent announcement of Joachim Löw’s resignation from the head coach of the German National Team. It has long been believe that Hansi Flick has been vying to earn that position and with it becoming available at the conclusion of this summer’s Euro 2020 tournament, it made sense for Hansi Flick to leave Bayern at the end of this season.
That, unfortunately, does not make it any easier for Manuel Neuer, & co. seeing Hansi Flick leaving, having said this:
Neuer: "The departure of Hansi Flick is very sad for us at FC Bayern. He became the best coach in the world in the year and a half in charge here"

With that being said, Neuer, Flick, & co. seem to be focused on ending the season on a high note and sending Flick off with a final trophy, the Bundesliga title.
