Lucas Hernandez had just started playing more frequently in the last couple of weeks, but now he faces another setback. The Frenchman was included in Bayern Munich’s starting eleven against Bundesliga’s match against Wolfsburg. Hernandez had a decent match, but he wasn’t able to finish the game due to an injury.

Nearing the end of the match, in the 90+4th minute Kevin Mbabu tried to kick the ball forward, but instead hit Hernandez’s ankle while the Frenchman was in the middle of a challenge. Hernandez was helped off the pitch and could not stand up by himself. He had to be carried off by Bayern’s medical staff.

It doesn’t look good for the Frenchman, as he is yet another player who is sidelined in the most decisive part of the season. Hopefully, Lucas is doing fine, and he won’t be sidelined for too long.

More details will follow as soon as we get them.
