The end of the season can present some awkward times as there is always a list of players preparing to move on from their clubs. Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick, however, does not worry about three of his veterans who will be seeking a new employer this summer.
In Flick’s mind, David Alaba, Jerome Boateng, and Javi Martinez are true professionals and will continue to do whatever it takes to help make Bayern Munich successful in the coming weeks.
“It’s their job, their calling, their passion, their passion. I can feel that in every single player, no matter what happens after the season. Every player is ready to give everything for the club until the end,” Flick said (per Tz). “They are also grateful for their time here and want to end it well. I have no concerns. I am absolutely convinced that they will give everything until the end.”
One things Flick will sure do is to try and manage a proper send-off for each veteran better than his predecessor Niko Kovac was able to do for the trio of Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, and Rafinha. While “Robbery” concluded their respective Bundesliga careers with fairytale endings, Rafinha was left on the bench because Kovac fumbled his substitutions while trying to deal with an injury.
