Bayern “confident” they can land Haaland if he lasts to 2022 (Daily Mail)

Per a report from the Daily Mail, Bayern Munich is “confident” that it will be able to acquire Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland in the summer of 2022 should the Norwegian spend another season in the Bundesliga:

Bayern Munich are confident they will land Erling Haaland next summer if he stays at Borussia Dortmund for one more season.

The Norwegian forward is wanted by all Europe’s major clubs, including Manchester City, though Dortmund insist they have no plans to sell the 20-year-old. That is unlikely to deter Haaland’s admirers, though, with offers in excess of £100m anticipated at the end of the campaign.

Next summer, however, Haaland is available for about £65million due to a clause in his contract and Sportsmail understands Bayern believe they can win the race for him under those circumstances, as they seek the long-term heir to Robert Lewandowski, who turns 33 in August.

I will say this...I would not want to be in the Dortmund front office. Sell him now and you’ll get more money, but be less competitive. Wait another year and you are definitely pulling in less cash, but you have another year to chase domestic and European glory.

Decisions...decisions.

Alaba’s remorse over UCL defeat (@David_Alaba)

David Alaba took Tuesday’s result against Paris Saint-Germain hard. The match represented his final Champions League match for Bayern Munich:

Meanwhile, Hernandez is eager to get back (@LucasHernandez)

Lucas Hernandez seems ready to get right back at it (though he might be too injured to play this weekend):

PSG after Kane (Transfer Market Web)

Paris Saint-Germain is said to be thinking about a move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane:

Already tracked by Manchester City, English international striker Harry Kane (27) has been targeted by Paris Saint-Germain again, according to TeleFoot. Tottenham are considering letting their star hitman out on a 3-digit transfer fee.

Yeah...pretty much this with my kids (@TrollFootball)

Trying to explain the situation to kids, non-fans, etc., can be exhausting:

Palace hunting Thauvin (Transfer Market Web)

At one point Florian Thauvin was on the transfer radar of Bayern Munich, but now the Olympique Marseille man could be a target of Crystal Palace, among other clubs:

Though possibly ending up extending for Olympique de Marseille, French attacking midfielder/winger Florian Thauvin (28) is still a potential free agent, ahead of next summer. To this end, according to RMC, former Lille and Newcastle playmaker, still tracked by a bunch of clubs around (including AC Milan, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla FC, and Leicester City), has been targeted by Crystal Palace.
