Bayern Munich’s new away kit for the upcoming season has now been leaked in full. We covered the initial leak in a previous piece, but a few more details have been added, along with a complete view of the front and back of the shirt.
As per the preexisting details, the kit’s main color will be black, with the club logo, accents, numbers and letters in gold. Again, the kit’s color scheme resembles that of Barcelona’s current away kit. Judging from the good feedback that said kit has received since its release, it seems likely that Bayern’s new kit will also be well received.
The one thing that sets this kit apart, though, is the light blue shade on the bottom left of the shirt. While it seems to be an attempt to incorporate the Bavarian flag into the kit, the detail has been met with a bit of criticism from fans.

Another notable aspect of the kit is that it will not feature the usual ‘mia san mia’ lettering on the back of the collar. Instead, it will feature a roundel vintage Bayern logo. This is not a negative change per se, but may miff some traditionalists.
All in all, the kit is a not half bad looking one, and will be paired with black shorts and socks to complete the all-black look. It will be released in July.
