Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller has heard all of the talk and speculation linking him to a comeback with the German national team. Now, however, as his team prepares for season-defining Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain, Müller would like to put all of that talk to rest for a bit.

“I can’t give an answer to that, currently we have other things on our minds. It’s similar to our side issue. The parties involved have already had to comment umpteen times,” said Müller (as captured by Tz). “I don’t know whether we’re presenting linguistic problems here and that’s why people rarely understand what’s being said. There is no new status. Tomorrow there is a huge game. The issue also has until May.”
The side issue that Müller referred to is the ongoing Hansi Flick vs. Hasan Salihamidzic “feud.” Müller sounds like he is about done discussing Flick’s future and is reaching his limit with talk of his return to Germany as well.
At this point, Müller just wants to focus on PSG, the rest of the Bundesliga season, and then — maybe — he’ll be ready to chat about a potential return to Germany.
