Per the latest reports emerging from France, Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti and Alessandro Florenzi have tested negative for Covid and will be available to face Bayern Munich for the second leg of the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
Both the players were part of the Italian national team squad which was hit by the virus during the international break and had missed the encounter at the Allianz Arena last week. Reports suggest that the midfielders will both resume collective training by Monday after the result of the swab tests came back.
This comes as a huge relief for the Parisians and definitely a blow for the German champions, who are already sitting on top of a pile of other problems.
Testé négatif au Covid, Marco Verratti devrait participer à une partie de la séance collective du jour.

Even though the chances are extremely high for the Italians to be included in the squad to face Bayern, it is not officially confirmed yet. According to L’Equipe, a decision regarding that will be made after an assessment of their physical condition by Mauricio Pochettino and the staff.
