Thomas Müller was obviously not happy to see Bayern Munich drop points in a 1-1 draw with Union Berlin, but the veteran did see some positives in how the team performed given how many changes there were in the lineup.
“We played with a much-changed team and the young players all did a great job. The team performance was committed, without being the most smooth in the final third. But in and of itself it was a good home game,” Müller said (as captured by FCBayern.com).

Even with the quality play from some of the squad’s younger contingent, Müller still found himself annoyed at how the team lost the lead late in the contest, which caused Bayern Munich to settle for the draw.
“We had Union, a team that are causing a stir this season, completely under our control. It makes the goal that we conceded from a throw-in all the more annoying,” said Müller, who had an assist on Jamal Musiala’s goal.
