We can add Bayern Munich and Germany captain Manuel Neuer to list of people who think it might be time to bring Thomas Müller back to Die Mannschaft.
In an interview with Blickpunkt Sport on Bayerischer Rundfunk TV, Neuer talked about Müller’s performance and importance to Bayern Munich.
“I think he showed his performance and he’s a player who is immensely important to us at FC Bayern,” said Neuer, who also acknowledged that he does not know what Joachim Löw has in store from a squad selection standpoint.

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer also threw his hat into the ring with his own support for Müller.
“Personally, I am of the opinion that Thomas Müller would look good on every team and also the German national team at the European Championship,” said Hainer.
Whatever the case, Neuer and Hainer now join Timo Werner and Toni Kroos in thinking it might have been a little early for Löw to pull the plug on Müller, Jerome Boateng, and Mats Hummels.
