Bayern Munich’s away kit for 2021/2022: full shirt leaked

Last week we got a glimpse of Bayern Munich’s new away kit for the 2021/2022 season. Just days later we now have seen a full look via another leak from Footy Headlines. It’s safe to say the rumors have not disappointed. This kit looks spectacular. Take my money!

While this is a very new direction for Bayern Munich, the color scheme isn’t exactly original. But you know what? We don’t need to be an innovator in the football kit world. FC Barcelona is wearing a very similar kit for the 2020/2021 season and it looks phenomenal. The mint-colored kit in the 2018/2019 season was probably our most unique kit design yet, and fans were not happy with that design at all. Maybe it is best to stick with what works.

The early look at this kit received great feedback from BFW readers, with many supporters leaving extremely positive comments. A small minority of readers were not huge fans of the kit, but it’s fair to say this design won’t make anyone too upset. And for a design that is brand new to the club, I’d say the feedback couldn’t be any better!

We have now seen an image of the full front of the kit, which reveals a much better picture of what the design is. The previous leak was solely a close-up image of the club badge and the kit’s chest. The full leak reveals a very clean and modern look, which was to be expected based on the rumors. Bayern Munich could’ve added more detail with golden trim on the collar or stripes on the sides, but they have placed emphasis on having a simple scheme.
