Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule was called up for international duty, but German national team coach Joachim Low couldn’t count on him because of an apparent muscular injury.
In the end, the big man had to leave the national team and returned to Munich to work on his comeback. Luckily for Bayern and Niklas, the recovery didn’t take too long. Niklas was already making progress a couple of days ago, and now he’s already back in training with the rest of the squad.

This means that Niklas Sule will be available for Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga title-deciding match against RB Leipzig. It’s not clear whether the player will start against Leipzig, but it’s good to have him in the squad, since he’s proven quite valuable, especially at the right-back position, given that Bouna Sarr’s performances have been disappointing. With Alphonso Davies and Jerome Boateng suspended, defenders are at a premium for Bayern at the moment.
Meanwhile, another setback for Bayern is that Robert Lewandowski will most probably miss the match with RB Leipzig due to a knee injury. Hopefully, he will be with the team for the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
