Bayern keeping tabs on Haaland? (Tz)
Tz captured a part of Florian Plettenberg’s podcast where the Sport1 reporter talked over the immediate future of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
Per Tz, Plettenberg said the following on his new “Meine Bayern-Woche” podcast:
“It will be extremely interesting next year, when Haaland will be on the market. Bayern need a Lewandowski successor at some point. When he moves to England next year, he’ll be gone for 5-6 years. That’s why he plays a role in the thoughts of the Bayern bosses. The topic is definitely on the table,” Plettenberg said.
Bayern made inquiry on Blanco (@Plettigoal)
Also per Plettenberg, Bayern Munich kicked the tires on Valencia’s 17-year-old Spanish winger Fabio Blanco, but the Bavarians will not make an offer to the youngster:
News Fabio #Blanco (17/@valenciacf): Yes, #FCBayern has enquired about him. However, they will not make an offer, so a transfer is off the table. Blanco has two concrete offers as an upcoming free agent: #HalaMadrid & #Barca. He has the same agent as Pedri. @SPORT1

Goretzka part of Juve swap deal? LOL (Football Italia)
Bayern Munich allegedly has interest in Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur, but — get this — Leon Goretzka would be part of a swap deal.
(Howling laughter ensures)
Okay, here we go:
According to Tuttosport, the German giants have set their sights on Uruguay international Bentancur. He has come under fire from Bianconeri fans this season due to some errors when playing out from the back.
The 23-year-old would certainly be available on the market for Juve this summer, as they are seeking to revamp their entire midfield. The report also states that the Bianconeri will ask for Goretzka as part of an exchange deal. Goretzka’s future remains uncertain, as the 26-year-old’s contract with Bayern is due to expire in June 2022.
Yeah...I don’t see that happening.
Konate to Liverpool? (@cfbayern)
It appears that RB Leipzig is going to lose yet another key defender as Liverpool is closing in on Ibrahima Konate:
TRUE ✅ @LFC are favorite on the transfer of Ibrahima Konaté (21). The Player of @DieRotenBullen has a release clause @David_Ornstein
— Christian Falk (@cfbayern) March 29, 2021
With Dayot Upamecano headed to Bayern Munich and Konate potentially headed to Liverpool, RB Leipzig will absolutely be losing some depth, but Die Roten Bullen still has some major talent on the backline.
Lukas Klostermann, Angelino, Marcel Halstenberg, Nordi Mukiele, and Willi Orban are all expected to be back with Leipzig next season and RB Leipzig is reportedly ready to add Strasbourg defender Mohamed Simakan as well.
No Lewy, no party (@henrywinter)
The injury news on Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is not great, but take a look at these numbers below to appreciate just how good the Polish Hitman has been over the course of his career:
Lewandowski has scored 47 goals in 42 games this season. He's scored 379 times in 488 games for Dortmund and Bayern, plus 66 in 118 for Poland. He's a modern great. Such a pity that a knee injury rules him out of Wembley. To prepare for Euros, #eng defence need a proper test.

Sabitzer leaving Leipzig (Get German Football News)
GGFN captured a report from Bild that states that RB Leipzig star midfielder Marcel Sabitzer has told the club that he wants to leave. More, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United all are eager to bring in the 27-year-old Austria international:
According to Bild, RB Leipzig captain Marcel Sabitzer has signaled internally that he wants to leave the Bundesliga side this summer amid interest from Premier League clubs. The 27-year-old has a contract with RB Leipzig until 2022 with Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United interested in signing Sabitzer. If the Austria international doesn’t want to sign a contract extension, that would mean that RB Leipzig would need to sell Sabitzer this summer or risk losing him on a free transfer in 2022.
