The rationale on why Pulisic and Bayern are loosely linked again (Transfer Market Web)
The rumors surrounding Bayern Munich and Christian Pulisic have been swirling back and forth over the past week. After being linked to the Bavarians, Sport Bild chief Christian Falk hit Twitter to downplay that contact had already been made, which we covered here:
NOT TRUE ❌ It is not true that @FCBayern had contact to @cpulisic_10 because of a transfer in the summer @ChelseaFC pic.twitter.com/fRmv2OtCRp

Transfer Market Web captured another Sport Bild report which did not address any potential contact between the two parties, but did give a clue as to why Pulisic’s name was brought up in relation to Bayern Munich:
According to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich are planning to bring 22-year-old American-Croatian winger Christian Pulisic back to Germany, if letting Kingsley Coman out. Playing for Chelsea since summer 2019, former Borussia Dortmund powerhouse is currently on a deal with Blues until June 2024, and worth around 55 million euros.
Coman, of course, has been very good for Bayern Munich this season, but has openly flirted with a move to Manchester United. While it might not seem likely at this stage, Coman is reportedly seeking to double his salary — which could be an issue in Bavaria.
In that scenario, if Bayern Munich and Coman cannot come to an accord — and the club opts to sell Coman (again, probably not likely), the Bavarians would probably be in the market for another viable wing/forward.
It does not seem as if Coman was overly thrilled with the acquisition of Leroy Sane last summer, but in the end, the 24-year-old wants more money.
If Bayern Munich wants to ensure that it can keep Coman within its ranks, it might have to apply Wu-Tang’s C.R.E.A.M. financial philosophy to the situation: “Cash rules everything around me...”
4 English clubs interested in Haaland revealed! (Sky Sports)
For those hoping to see Erling Haaland in red, we got the bad news on Bayern Munich’s rumored pursuit of the Norwegian last night. Now the attention can shift to the other clubs who are rumored to be in the mix.
It was speculated that the four English clubs interested in Borussia Dortmund phenom would be Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool and if you had them on your Erling Haaland Bingo card then you are a winner!
Here is the info as reported by Sky Sports:
Will one of Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea or Liverpool pounce for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland in the summer? Haaland, 20, is under contract at Dortmund until 2024 but has a reported €75m (£66m) release clause, which comes into effect in the summer of 2022.
A host of Europe’s top clubs have been linked with a move for Haaland, as well as La Liga giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. But could a side look to get Haaland a year early by bidding big in this summer’s window?
Sørloth had some help giving Leipzig hope (Bild)
An old saying goes “behind every successful man, there is a strong woman.”
Or in my case, one woman ready to burst into a WebEx meeting and berate me for leaving the toilet seat up in front of a team I was managing. True story, but that is neither here nor there.
For RB Leipzig’s Alexander Sørloth, a strong woman’s presence was just what he needed to get back on track. Sørloth has been a bit of a disappointment so far this season, but the 25-year-old scored the game winner against Borussia Mönchengladbach to clinch a crucial three points.
The reason? Sørloth’s significant other, Lena Selnes, paid him a visit. Selnes gave him a haircut, jogged with Sørloth, provided him with some updated “fitness units”, and also played billiards, board games, and tennis with the RB Leipzig forward.
Sørloth did not discount how important it was to have a familiar face with him.
“It is very important to me. I am always happier when she is with me,” said Sørloth, who also had an assist against Die Fohlen. “She found the house we live in and completely furnished it. It enriches my life and makes it easier.”

Honestly, I was disappointed that not every player in that video suffered some sort of indignity.
What can I say? I like seeing people get hit by balls (phrasing!).

Bobic bolts Eintracht (@RaeComm)
Fredi Bobic has decided to leave Eintracht Frankfurt and some rumors are already linking him to Hertha Berlin:
What @Sky_MaxB & @SkySportNewsHD reported yesterday is confirmed. Fredi Bobic will leave Eintracht Frankfurt in the Summer https://t.co/65E1hIKVIo

Bobic, of course, is widely credited with powering Eintracht Frankfurt’s resurgence and will likely be a huge loss to the club.
