Pregame: Starting lineup!

Bayern Munich are back in the Quarterfinals of the UEFA Women’s Champions. The Bavarians will be going up against the 2020 Damallsvenskan runners-up FC Rosengård.

Bayern dispatched Ajax and BIIK Kazygurt to get to this point, while Rosengård went through Lanchkhuti and St. Pölten. Jens Scheuer’s team had the more difficult route to the Quarterfinals, but you can’t take anything for granted at this stage of the competition.

In last year’s truncated one-legged (thanks to COVID), Bayern were bounced in the same round by eventual champions (and, now, winners of FIVE UWCLs in a row). This year, the Bavarians look like they’re going to be a tougher out than last year. For Rosengård, this is the farthest that they’ve gone in the UWCL since the 2016/17 season.

It’s Bayern time.
