Per Tz reporter Manuel Bonke, Bayern Munich defender Niklas Süle has picked up a muscle strain and will miss Germany’s match against Iceland on March 25th.
While the ailment does not sound serious, any injury to Bayern Munich’s backline could have a devastating effect on Hansi Flick’s squad selection for its upcoming matches against RB Leipzig and Paris Saint Germain:

Personnel update: #FCBayern -Defender Niklas #Süle falls for that #DFB -International game against #Island due to a strain in the back of the left thigh. Robin #Gosens too will be absent due to muscular problems. #GERISL
Süle’s injury is especially worrisome for Bayern Munich because both Alphonso Davies (red card suspension) and Jerome Boateng (yellow card accumulation) are already out for the RB Leipzig match on April 3rd — which could have major implications in the Bundesliga title race.
In addition to Süle, Atalanta’s Robin Gosens will also miss Germany’s match with Iceland as well as the 26-year-old is experiencing muscular issues.
