Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Bayern Munich defender David Alaba has reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid. This news comes from Spanish newspaper ABC and was captured in detail by Tz.

Per the report, Los Blancos are prepared to give Alaba a €20 million bonus and an average salary that will average €10 million (net) per season:

Real Madrid or FC Barcelona: David Alaba seems to have to choose between these two clubs - there are worse options. Now the pendulum seems to be swinging towards the Spanish capital, if you believe the Spanish newspaper ABC.

Numbers are mentioned in the report: Allegedly, Alaba is said to have agreed to a contract that secures him ten million euros net annually. He apparently collects a hand money of 20 million euros for the signature. With this, the Royal team want to stand out from other interested top clubs. Such a generous bonus for the player is not exactly common and only possible because Alaba is leaving FC Bayern free of charge at the end of the season.

A €20 million bonus certainly would sound enticing, but this is not the first time that we have heard that Alaba and Real Madrid have reached an accord. In the last instance, Alaba’s father issues a statement that flatly denied the report.

Will the same thing happen with this news? We’ll find out soon enough.
